Why is Pride Month in June?

Welcome to the 3rd post in the June series about the Dark Side of the Rainbow.

Pride Month could have been any month of the year. So why is it June? The answer may shock you. But I’ll give you a heads up, would you believe it has its roots in paganism?

Let’s get into the pagan roots of Pride Month.

From Protest to Pride: Unleashing the Power of the Stonewall Riots

The Stonewall Riots of 1969 were a series of spontaneous protests and demonstrations in response to a police raid at the Stonewall Inn, a gay bar in New York City’s Greenwich Village. The riots were pivotal in the LGBTQ+ rights movement in the United States and worldwide.

In the early hours of June 28, 1969, police raided the Stonewall Inn, a popular gathering place for the LGBTQ+ community. The raid was part of a broader crackdown on gay bars and establishments, which were often subjected to harassment and discriminatory practices by law enforcement.

However, on this particular night, the patrons of the Stonewall Inn fought back against the police. The crowd grew larger, and the clashes between the police and the LGBTQ+ community continued for several days. The uprising attracted significant attention and led to increased activism and visibility for the LGBTQ+ community.

The Stonewall riots served as a catalyst for the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement. In the following years, LGBTQ+ activists and organizations organized protests, formed advocacy groups, and fought for equal rights and protections. The annual Pride parades, which take place worldwide, originated from commemorating the Stonewall riots.

The events at the Stonewall Inn marked a turning point, inspiring a new wave of activism and bringing LGBTQ+ issues to the forefront of public consciousness. Today, the Stonewall riots are remembered as a significant milestone in the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ rights and acceptance.

So Pride Month is tied to this pivotal event. But this is not the only major event in June regarding the LGBTQ+ community.

From Stonewall to Today: June’s Remarkable LGBTQ+ Milestones and Victories

There were many pivotal events that took place in June related to the LGBTQ+ community. First, the Supreme Court legalized of homosexuality nationwide on June 26, 2003. Second, the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) was a federal law that defined marriage as the union between one man and one woman and denied federal recognition and benefits to same-sex couples.

The Supreme Court overturned DOMA on June 26, 2015. And this Supreme Court ruling led to the legalization of same-sex marriage across America.

Now is all this a coincidence?

There are no coincidences.

All those Events took place in June for a reason.

But why?

What’s so special about June and LGBTQ+ movement?

Let’s get into it.

Power of the Summer Solstice: Pagan Worship and Ancient Traditions

During June, many pride parades, celebrations, and observations take place. Specifically, these activities take place weeks or days before the summer solstice. The summer solstice generally occurs in the Northern Hemisphere on June 20th or 21st. That time of the year is an integral aspect of pagan celebrations.

For example, Midsummer, or Litha, is an ancient pagan celebration held during the summer solstice. It marks the peak of summer and the longest day of the year. People gather to honor the sun’s power and celebrate abundance, fertility, and magic. Festivities include rituals, bonfires, feasting, dancing, and singing.

The bonfires hold special significance, believed to bring purification, good fortune, and protection against evil spirits. Flower wreaths symbolize fertility and nature’s bloom, while divination rituals and handfasting ceremonies add a spiritual dimension. Modern Pagans and Wiccans continue to observe Midsummer, paying tribute to the sun, nature, and the season’s bounty.

Now, when you’re dealing with Pride Month being a pagan celebration, you must ask a few questions: if this is a pagan celebration, what god or deity is being celebrated?

Whenever you’re dealing with a pagan celebration, a god or deity is normally worshipped. Since we know pagan worship has nothing to do with the Most High, it’s not a celebration of the one true living GOD, the Creator of the heavens and earth.

Who is the pagan deity at the center of Pride Month?

Let me introduce you to Ashteroth aka Ishtar.

Resurrecting Ashteroth: Rediscovering the Ancient Pagan Goddess

In the Bible, Ashteroth (also spelled Ashtaroth or Ashtoreth) is a term used to refer to a pagan goddess worshiped by various ancient Near Eastern cultures. Ashteroth is often associated with fertility, love, and war. In the Hebrew Bible, she is mentioned as one of the foreign gods worshiped by the Canaanites and other neighboring peoples.

Ashteroth is mentioned in several passages, such as Judges 2:12-13, where it is stated that the Israelites

“They forsook the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them. They aroused the Lord’s anger because they forsook him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.”

In 1 Kings 11:4-5, it is mentioned that King Solomon, in his later years, turned to worship Ashteroth and other gods, which displeased God.

The worship of Ashteroth involved various rituals and practices, including temple prostitution and sacrifices. The Israelites were repeatedly warned against worshiping foreign gods, including Ashteroth, as it was considered idolatry and a violation of their covenant with God.

Ashteroth is also known as the Mesoptanium goddess Ishtar, the goddess of sexual immorality. The Greeks called her Aphrodite, and the Romans called her Venus

This goddess was worshiped in pagan temples where temple prostitutes, both male and female, did their thing. The men dressed as women and sang her praises as part of the rituals.

Ishtar is also known as The Transformer, meaning she changed men into women and women into men. Not only did the temple priests dress up as women, but they also surgically altered their manhood (if you know what I mean).

As you see here, cross-dressing and transgenderism originated in ancient pagan rituals and worship.

Now here’s the kicker.

Now according to Jonathan Cahn, author of The Return of the Gods, gay folks broke out into dancing, and not just any dancing, during the 1969 Stonewall Riots. They did the dance of Ishtar!

Here are more facts about Ishtar:

  • In Canaanite society, she is the wife of the pagan god Baal, an enemy of the Most High.
  • Ishtar is also known as the Harlot or prostitute.
  • She wars against marriage.
  • In the ancient text, she states: “I am a woman, I am a man.” She intends to feminize men and masculinize women.
  • She seduces a nation to paganism using sexuality.
  • She blurs gender and sexuality.
  • Her ultimate aim is to replace biblical morality with pagan sexual immorality. The goddess’s role is to paganize a whole nation and destroy marriage through the sexualization of culture.
  • She also introduced pornography.

The Stonewall Riots opened a portal for this deity to run amock in America. And that’s why since 1969, prayer was taken out of school, sexual morality declined, the nuclear family broke down, and more.

Now we have drag queen story time in schools, pornographic books placed in elementary school libraries, and forced gender transitioning of our children.

All thanks to the LGTBQ+ goddess Ishtar!

A Final Word

Why is Pride Month in June? It’s the month the pagan goddess Ashteroth/Ishtar is worshiped. Why? Because she’s the goddess of sexual immorality reigns over the LGBTQ+ movement. So Pride Month is a celebration of this goddess. And this is ONE of the spirits that turn a nation away from GOD.

You gonna learn today that the “elites” at the top of the LGBTQ+ DO NOT believe in the one true living GOD, the creator of the heavens and the earth. They are pagans who hate GOD and use the LGBTQ+ frequency and energy to turn nations against GOD.

Until next time…

Let the Holy Spirit be your guide.

Peace
